Frankly, this porridge-like exfoliator doesn't really work for me. It's already an oatmeal paste, & not a cream at all, so adding water, as instructed, simply makes it clump up around the fingers. Maybe it should be remarketed as a hand treatment? I feel very little actual exfoliation going on where I need it. I've a combination skin & need a harsher exfoliator for my nose & chin & so this would be good for my more delicate cheeks & neck were it not for the clumpy texture. Admittedly, it's very gentle in its sloughing action, so it's good for very sensitive skin, & I know it does say it's for daily use, but then I have to use it everyday anyway to have any effect at all, & I do (can't wait to use it up & get a more sloughy one) & I still don't feel it's doing an adequate job. Daily use also seems time consuming - I'd rather simply scrub with my shower sponge & face wash - & wasteful as I need a lot of this, mainly because most of it falls off the face & into the shower, & so the tube gets used up quickly (& it's not cheap).

It feels like the old Jackie magazine recipe for a home-made oatmeal face pack for dry skin, & I've tried to use it like a cleansing pack but it simply doesn't stay on the skin long enough - the gloopy bits made a mess everywhere. You have to use it in the shower or bath or over a huge basin (kitchen sink!) as when I used it over my bathroom basin, bits kept dripping down my arms & dropping off my elbows onto the floor.

I love the light and soothing smell of this exfoliator and how it leaves my skin smooth and plumped. My only qualm would be its slightly chunky texture. Even after dissolving it with water in the palm of your hand, quite a few chunky pieces still fall off the face. Despite that, it’s still a lovely product that I will continue to use.

A beautiful creamy exfoliating cleanser, anything versatile and easy to use is kind of product. I do only use this a few times a week as over exfoliation can cause skin irritation but enjoy and look forward to using it.
